12 pumpkin recipes to enjoy this autumn

Pumpkins aren’t just for carving, you know. Cook them into something delicious with one of these 12 recipes. These recipes would be perfect for a grown-up Halloween feast, but we recommend you enjoy them throughout the season to make the most of one of our favourite autumn ingredients, the pumpkin.

Meera Sodha celebrates the wonderful variety of autumnal squash and pumpkin available at farmer’s markets or supermarkets at this time of year in this recipe. Look out for varieties such as Crown Prince and Delica with “their nutty, honey flavours”. This dish pairs pumpkin with sweet onions, garam masala and rich coconut milk for a warming, hearty autumnal supper.
