Vanilla and Bay Loaf
![Rukmini Iyer’s Vanilla & Bay Loaf](https://thehappyfoodie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/VANILLA_BAY_MINI__0292-scaled-2.jpg)
Introduction
This is a lovely, subtle loaf, with the bay adding a herbaceous note alongside the classic vanilla. If you have time, you can steep the bay for longer than the time it takes to make the cake batter – it’ll give you a more pronounced flavour. One to make when you’re in the mood for a proper slice of cake.
