Introduction
Cool down and bliss out with this creamy chocolate hemp smoothie. You’ll be amazed at how a pinch of sea salt brings out the rich, complex chocolate fl avour. In spite of the fact that it tastes like a milk shake, the smoothie is actually incredibly nutritious! Hemp hearts provide both protein and omega-3 fatty acids, while cocoa powder adds a concentrated dose of antioxidants. I love the addition of coconut butter, which has a rich, buttery taste and luxurious texture. If your blender has a hard time blending dates, I recommend using the maple syrup option instead, or you can soak the pitted dates in boiling water for twenty to thirty minutes before you begin.
Ingredients
425ml | unsweetened almond milk |

1 tbsp | coconut butter or nut butter |
¼ tsp | teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) |
⅛ to ¼ tsp | fine sea salt, to taste |
