Learn how to make a sweet, refreshing and authentic mango lassi with this recipe from the Mother India cookbook. This classic Indian drink is the perfect accompaniment to spicy food.
This drink is especially delicious and refreshing when fresh mangoes are in season, but a tasty alternative can easily be made using mango pulp from a tin, which is readily available throughout the year in Asian grocery shops.

|2 tbsp||plain yoghurt|
|2 tsp||caster sugar|
You will need a blender.
If you’re using whole mangoes, remove the skin and the stone.
