Air Fryer Caramelised Baked Bananas
Introduction from Hayley Dean
Baking bananas brings out the natural sweetness in the fruit and turns them beautifully golden and soft. Cooked in the air fryer, bananas caramelise quickly so you can dish up a tasty dessert in no time at all.
Ingredients
Essential kit
You will need: an air fryer.
Method
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
Slice the bananas in half lengthways still in their skins.
Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Line the air fryer. Place the bananas cut side up in the air fryer and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar all over the cut sides of each half. Cook at 180°C for 10 minutes or until the bananas are caramelised.
Place two banana halves on each serving plate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Crumble the biscuits over the top of each plate and drizzle over the caramel sauce. Serve straight away.
