Smitten Kitchen Every Day

Who’s the author? Deb Perelman is the self-taught cook and photographer behind award-winning blog, Smitten Kitchen, and the New York Times Bestselling cookbook of the same name. Smitten Kitchen Every Day is her second cookbook.
What’s it about? This is a collection of recipes that matches up to the practicalities and realities of busy life, whether that’s a life that involves trying to fit cooking around young kids, a stressful office job that leaves little time after work, or any demands that make following complex recipes that take hours unrealistic. Instead, this is page after page of food that you not only want to eat, but very easily can, with recipes that are easy to master and a joy to make, eat and share. With everything from breakfasts to party food, comfort plays a big part in each dish, and Deb’s relatable and witty intros are wonderful to read.
Recipes we love: Spaghetti with Crispy Eggs, Grandma-style Chicken Noodle Soup and The Party Cake Builder.
Perfect for: Busy family cooks looking for fresh ideas that are simple to make at home but really deliver on flavour.
