Who is the author?: Trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, Kitty Travers later returned to London to become a pastry chef at St John Bread & Wine before leaving to set up La Grotta Ices from a converted greengrocers in Bermondsey in 2008. The undisputed ice cream queen, she has been delighting South London and beyond with her heavenly creations ever since.
