Who’s the author? Kwoklyn Wan is a professional chef, restaurateur and author. He and his brother, the television personality Gok Wan, grew up working in their family’s Cantonese restaurant in the Midlands.

Kwoklyn has written a number of bestselling books, including the Chinese Takeaway Cookbook (2019), The Veggie Chinese Takeaway Cookbook (2020) and Chinese Takeaway in 5 (2021), 10-Minute Chinese Takeaway (2022) and One Wok, One Pot (2023).
