Who’s the author? Well-loved and respected chef, TV presenter and author Rick Stein has produced an array of award-winning books and BBC television series, including Rick Stein’s Long Weekends, Rick Stein: From Venice to Istanbul, Rick Stein’s India, Rick Stein’s Secret France, and Rick Stein at Home.
Whether he’s showcasing the food of his beloved Cornwall or exploring the cuisines and ingredients of global locations, Rick’s warm, approachable style and passion for good-quality local produce has won him a host of awards and fans. Rick has four restaurants in Padstow, Cornwall, where he also has a cookery school, food shops and a pub in the nearby village of St Merryn. In 2018 Rick was awarded a CBE for services to the economy.
