Elsie's Omega 3 Liquid Brain Food
Dave's daughter Elsie loves to make this smoothie, and any variation of it. It is loaded with omega 3s - great for brain function and energy.
For how many? Makes 800ml
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp walnuts
- 1 tbsp goji berries
- 1/2 tsp spirulina
- 6 dried apricots or pitted dates
- 600ml apple or carrot juice
Just put all the ingredients in a blender and whiz together till smooth. Couldn't be easier!
