Who’s the author? Anna Hedworth is the proprietor and chef at Cook House and Long Friday, two acclaimed restaurants in Newcastle-up-Tyne. Formerly an architect, Anna has since made a splash in the restaurant world, with Cook House being named the Financial Times Restaurant of the Year in 2019 and going on to secure a coveted Michelin Plate in 2021.

Anna is also an award-winning author; her first book, Recipes and Stories from Cook House, was named one of 2019’s Top 10 Food Books by The Sunday Times.
