Who’s the author? Anurag Aggarwal is living proof that it’s never too late to pursue your passions. Born and raised in Gurgaon, north India, he carries the flavours of his hometown close to his heart. Inspired by his late mother, he has always poured his energy into cooking authentic Indian dishes. In 2023, he decided to take a break from his career as a successful chartered accountant. He signed himself up to participate in Masterchef UK, making it to the finals and becoming a fan favourite for his creative, colourful dishes. He did not return to the world of finance, choosing to continue his culinary journey as a full-time chef, consultant, and cookbook author.
