Jerusalem wins prestigious award

Jerusalem, the second cookbook from Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi, was honoured last night at the prestigious Observer Food Monthly Awards with the award for Best New Cookbook.

The book explores the exciting, vibrant cookery of the pair’s home city, celebrating its many cultural and culinary influences and glorying in the bounty of its Mediterranean climate. Many of Ottolenghi and Tamimi’s favourite family recipes are featured in the book, which bursts with their shared passion for the city of their birth.
