All of your favourite recipes from Nadiya Hussain’s Simple Spices on BBC2

Queen of flavour Nadiya Hussain has returned to our screens with Nadiya’s Simple Spices, the six-part BBC2 series accompanying her latest cookbook of the same name.

The premise of this series – as the name suggests – is simple. Recipes incorporate one (or more) of eight easily accessible spices that should be a staple for any kitchen cupboard, if not already: cardamom, fennel, cinnamon, turmeric, cumin, chilli, bay leaves, and curry powder.

From easy midweek meals to indulgent sweet treats, we’ve rounded up all the recipes featured in the series.
