To celebrate the long-awaited publication of Samin’s Nosrat’s second cookbook Good Things, we’re giving away two tickets to one of her tour dates in London, Edinburgh or Bristol.
Eight years after the spellbinding success of Salt Fat Acid Heat, a #1 New York Times bestseller and Netflix hit series, Samin Nosrat bring your Good Things. This is a collection of over 125 of Samin’s most useful and beloved everyday recipes and tips, alongside personal stories about how cooking can be a source of meaning and beauty in one’s life.
You’ll find go-to recipes for ricotta pancakes, chicken braised with apricots and harissa, a crunchy Calabrian chili crisp, super-chewy sky-high focaccia and a decades-in-the-making, childhood-evoking yellow cake. With tips and techniques, from how to buy olive oil to the one acceptable substitute for Parmigiano Reggiano, Good Things captures, with Samin’s trademark blend of warmth and precision, the essence of what makes cooking such an important source of comfort and delight, and invites you to join her at the table.
About the tour: An Evening of Recipes and Rituals with Samin Nosrat
In an evening about creativity and connection, Samin will remind us how cooking can not only nourish our bodies but also satiate our desire for kinship and community. Simply put, she will share the recipes she most loves to cook for herself and her friends, weaving them into profoundly reflective stories with her trademark blend of warmth, creativity, and precision.
Offering inspiration and practical wisdom on finding joy in the kitchen and at the table, she’ll also answer your most-asked culinary questions including: How do you balance flavours without a recipe? What makes homemade pasta worth the effort? And how can cooking become an act of community care?
Expect to feel nourished in the deepest sense, as Samin reflects on what truly makes a good meal and a good life that will leave you inspired to gather your people and cook with love.
Samin will be joined by Yotam Ottolenghi in London, with special guests to be announced for Edinburgh and Bristol.
