Marie Mitchell is the chef and co-founder behind Island Social Club, a hugely popular Caribbean supper club created to revive the spirit of London’s fading Caribbean cultural space. Once a notorious picky eater as a child, she now spends much of her time cooking, writing, and engaging in conversations about food. Living in East London, Marie sees the dinner table as the perfect place for meaningful dialogue. She is passionate about promoting social inclusivity, sustainability, and fostering environments that support self-care and mental well-being.
